Making technology a tool everyone can create with.
We are founding an association in Ankara that will run workshops, scholarships and events on artificial intelligence, digital art, entrepreneurship and robotics.

Once the association is founded, we will measure it every year and publish the result in our annual report.

Making with the machine
The Studio is the art side of the association. Artists, designers and anyone curious will try out, together in workshops, how to make things with AI. Our rule is simple: no one's work is used without permission, and where AI was used is never hidden.
Code and Canvas
Generative art, images and music with AI, copyright awareness. A separate series for children.
Human + Machine
An exhibition of work made with AI. Artists will apply through an open call.
Creative Intelligence Festival
A festival we will hold once a year, bringing together talks, workshops and performances.
Studio programmes will open after the association is founded. We are already adding interested artists and designers to the list.
The first six months
After founding, we plan at least one meetup and one workshop every month. We will update the list as dates are confirmed.

Long-term programmes

Scholarships
For young women studying software, AI, engineering and design, and for students on technology teams. Some scholarships will come from funds named after their supporters.

Founding team
Founding an association takes seven founders. Right now there are two of us; we will find the others by meeting the people who pre-register.
Alptekin Uzun
Technology entrepreneur
Founder of TheDevelopy Ltd, a London-based technology company working in software, applied AI and R&D consulting. Partner and director of sales, marketing and business development at Anayurt Teknoloji in Ankara. Completed the Leading Strategic Projects Programme at the University of Oxford and is studying for a master's degree in business administration at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University. Once the association is founded, will lead its entrepreneurship programmes, corporate partnerships and fundraising.
Demet Bozkurt Uzun
Software engineer · Technology entrepreneur
Founder of The Form Before Ltd, a London-based company bringing art and software together. For ten years has built web and financial technology products in teams across Türkiye, Ireland and the UK, and most recently released an open-source AI agent. Once the association is founded, will lead the Creative Technology Studio: artist and developer pairings, the workshop curriculum and taking the work through to publication.
Become a founding member candidate
The founding team that signs the notification will be formed from pre-registrations. You must be 18 or over.
For the advisory board, we are talking to people from academia, the arts and technology.
Our commitments
- No money before founding
- We take no money from anyone until the association is founded and has its own bank account. After that, income will be spent only on the association's aims.
- Independent oversight
- The treasurer and audit board will have no family or business ties to the board.
- Impartial research
- Sponsors of our reports will be named openly and will not influence the findings.
- Child protection and privacy
- Under-18s take part with parental consent. Pre-registration data is processed only with your consent.
- Civil purpose
- Our drone and robotics work is strictly for civil, educational and research use.
Pre-registration
For now we want to see who is interested. Pre-registration is free; no one is asked for money before the association is founded.
