Technology, art and entrepreneurship at the same table
Creative Technologies is an initiative to found an association in Ankara. We want to bring people working in artificial intelligence, digital art, entrepreneurship and robotics together on the same projects. The association has not been founded yet; we will file the founding notification in November 2026.

Openness
We share the educational content and data we produce openly, and publish a summary of our income and spending every year.
Inclusion
We give priority to young women, young people from smaller cities and those with limited means.
Ethics
We use AI with respect for copyright, privacy and human work.
Independence
Sponsors cannot decide the content of our programmes or the results of our research.
Governance
The association will have a lean structure built on the bodies required by Turkish law on associations. Members of each body will be published here after the first general assembly.
General Assembly
All members. The first meets in February-March 2027. The ordinary general assembly meets every three years, in May.
Board of Directors
Elected by the general assembly. It chooses the chair, vice chair, secretary general and treasurer from among its members.
Audit Board
Members with no family or business ties to the board. Audits at least once a year.
Advisory Board
Experienced people from academia, the arts and technology. Meets at least once a year and gives its view on our programmes.
Committees
Artificial Intelligence; Creative Technology and Digital Culture; Entrepreneurship. Uncrewed Systems and Robotics in year two.
Statute
The draft statute has 39 articles and one transitional article. Scholarships and a scholarship fund, a research and survey unit, and an academy with certificate programmes each have their own article.

Frequently asked questions
When is the association being founded?
The founding application will be filed with the Ankara Directorate of Civil Society Relations in November 2026. Our first event is in December 2026 and the first general assembly in February-March 2027.
Is it an AI association or a software association?
It will be a technology association that covers both. AI, software, digital art, robotics and entrepreneurship will come together in the same projects rather than as separate clubs. In year one we start with three committees: Artificial Intelligence; Creative Technology and Digital Culture; Entrepreneurship.
Can I join from outside Ankara?
Yes. Pre-registration is open to every city and the online talk series can be watched from anywhere. As the association will be based in Ankara, most workshops and meetups will take place there.
Who can become a member?
Anyone aged 18 or over with full legal capacity. Companies, schools and institutions can join as institutional members.
Is there a fee to pre-register or become a founder?
No. Pre-registration, founding membership candidacy and volunteering are free. Once the association is founded, members will pay yearly dues; the amount is set in the statute and the general assembly can change it. Students will pay reduced dues.
I am under 18. Can I take part?
You cannot become a member, but you can join workshops and events with a parent's or guardian's consent. The pre-registration form asks for their details and we contact them directly.
I am not an artist. Can I join the Studio?
Yes. Studio programmes will be open to the curious as well as to artists and designers; Code and Canvas workshops are being designed to need no prior knowledge. We are also planning a separate series for children, with parental consent.
Can you run a workshop at our school?
After the association is founded we plan to run coding and AI workshops in schools. The necessary official permissions are obtained for school work, and pupils take part only with parental consent. You can register your school's interest now by choosing "Teacher" as your profile on the pre-registration form.
How will you measure the targets?
The 2030 targets on this site are drafts and will be confirmed with the founding team. Once the association is founded, we will record participant numbers for every programme and learning outcomes through pre- and post-tests, and publish the results in the annual report and as open data in the Barometer.
Can I make a donation?
Not yet. Without a legal entity and a bank account in the association's name, we accept no money, dues or donations into any personal account. If anyone asks you for money on our behalf, please tell us. You can register your intention to support us on the Support page.
How will the founders be chosen?
The founding team that signs the notification will be formed through conversations with people who chose "founding member candidate" when pre-registering. Other pre-registrations form the first member pool.
Are you tied to any party or election campaign?
No. The initiative and the future association have no ties to any party or election campaign and will not run election polls.
